Presentations & Beauty Contests in Corporate Finance

Available as an in-house course

 Course Overview

Producing effective presentations on acquisition or disposal opportunities is an important factor in winning advisory mandates, as well as gaining new clients for the firm or reinforcing existing relationships. These presentations may form part of a sector based marketing approach, or may be based on specific ideas.

After looking at the means of identifying transaction opportunities, this course focuses on each section of information and analysis that may be included in the presentation document for a proposed acquisition target(s) or other corporate finance transaction.

It also covers what may be included in a “beauty contest” presentation for, say, a sales mandate.

The types of transaction presented include public and private company deal opportunities.

Those involved in corporate finance advisory work, who wish to start developing their business by presenting ideas on potential transactions to clients, should attend this course.
